The TN eCampus Syllabus Library is a collection of master syllabi, that are then updated by individual faculty in each course section that is offered in the semester. A master syllabus is “generic” and is not tailored to any specific section of the course, so it will not include include instructor information.
Moreover, we offer courses in multiple term lengths through the semester (full 15 week, first 7 week, delayed 10 week, and second 7 week), and each term length may have slightly different participation and grading policies, or assessments and projects.
While the web-version of the master syllabus allows you to see this information in a clear manner, if you choose to download a PDF version, you may see duplicate information for two areas in the syllabus: Participation & Grading and Assessments & Projects.
Please be assured that the actual course section syllabus for the term will not show duplication and will also include the section instructor information. This syllabus will be available to students within the course for which they are enrolled once classes start for the term.
The Syllabus Library allows college counselors and students to peruse the master syllabus of courses students may be interested in or need to take for graduation purposes.
