Submit On-ground Proctoring Information

Steps you need to follow to provide this information:

  • Log in to your course developer D2L account.
  • Access the Proctoring Information course shell.
  • Upload your testing information as if you were a student uploading it into the class assignment dropbox.
    • Go to Assignments in your course.
    • Give the following information:
      • Your name
      • Your contact email
      • Your contact number (this needs to be something where you can be immediately reached if there is a problem—not a departmental number)
      • Any instructions (students may use notes, they cannot take bathroom breaks, etc.)
      • A password — this must be the same password across all sections of the course. Please check to ensure that your section instructors do not use a different password. Also, it should not be shared with students.
      • If your exam is not in D2L, please tell me where it is (e.g., MyLab Math, etc.) and leave any information the proctor may need to know concerning the platform.
      • Upload a PDF (preferred) or Word copy of your exam.
      • Submit!
  • Remember, there are different dropboxes if your course runs in multiple formats (such as accelerated R01 and regular R50). You will have to submit your information for each format.
  • Keep in mind that while on-ground testing is an option, the number of testing centers that will accommodate our students is limited. Please remind your students that it’s necessary to contact their testing center (link opens in new window) before arriving to ensure they can be accommodated.
