Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA
The mission of the Department of Economics and Finance is to provide students with the educational experience necessary to succeed in a competitive global environment. This program focuses on developing the problem solving skills that will help enable the student to critically analyze the complex and rapidly evolving issues of business and society. A graduate of this concentration will be well-prepared for employment at all levels of business, the financial services industry, government, and the not-for-profit sector.
Specifically, the Real Estate concentration provides:
- An examination of the theories of urban and regional economic growth and development.
- A study of economic, social, financial and legal problems involved in acquiring, holding and disposing of real estate.
- A study of the fundamentals of appraising various properties and the three major approaches to finding value: cost, income and market.
