Clinical/Student Requirements

Prospective Students:  TN eCampus is no longer accepting new applications to the MSN Program Partnership.

Enrolled Students: The MSN Program Partnership remains fully committed to allowing the students who are currently enrolled in the program to have an opportunity to successfully complete the program and to ensure they are graduating from a fully accredited program.

The section below outlines required documentation that MUST be uploaded in Medatrax prior to beginning your clinical preceptorships.
Registered Nurse Licensure
Students must hold and maintain a current unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Tennessee or the state in which the clinical assignments are completed.
Student Liability Insurance
The graduate student practices under his or her own license and is required to maintain current advanced practice student liability insurance. Family Nurse Practitioner students must maintain student FNP liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000/$6,000,000. Students in other concentrations are required to maintain and must have proof of the same coverage in order to be in compliance with our Affiliation Agreements. This policy also applies to federal employees, including active military who engage in a clinical practicum regardless of setting.
The Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) has negotiated group rates for this coverage at a very reasonable rate. Please contact Qunitta Goodin for details.
